F30 335i Xdrive Downpipe gotchas?

I appologize for the flood of questions and such... Decided this time around to take care of as much as possible right when I got the car (1.5 months ago) so I can enjoy it for the next 2-3 years of ownership right off the bat... Rather then like with my E92 M3 slow drip of mods...

So:

Purchased a catted wagner downpipe. Having it installed next Friday.

I own a F30 335i Xdrive. Any gotchas regarding the install I should mention to my shop?

I ordered a fresh set of clamps and the one o-ring. Cheap, thought I might as well. I always replace all the orings and clamps when having work done to the car.

So:

A) Does the subframe / steering rack need to come down to do the downpipe on the xdrive f30?

B) I keep seeing that the DP install on the xdrives is 'more difficult'. How so?

C) Any other gotchas I should mention to the shop before the start?

NOTE : Good shop. Strictly BMW work. Lots of it to boot. Had a S65 ripped apart being rebuilt last I was there. So they know their stuff.

I'm sure they will be just fine, it's straight forward.

+1

For a shop with the proper tools and a lift its a piece of cake. Worst thing is sometimes getting the OEM one out due to rust and corrosion on the bolts.

Appreciate the feedback.

Probably stressing for no reason but like to go in knowing what to expect.

Thanks again!

No need to drop steering rack or anything. POC compared to what you're expecting.
