Hi everyone.

I have an F30 production date 04/2012 that has the CIC/Combox unit and the smaller/standard iDrive screen and controller, along with that it has the following options:

S676A HiFi speaker system
S696A DVD changer
S698A DVD Area-Code 2 for DVD
S6AAA BMW TeleServices
S6ABA Control for Teleservices
S6NFA Smartphone Music interface for Smartphone
S6NKA Link for Bluetooth and USB device

My questions are these:

How can I get 6NR working on my car? (no apple device solutions please)

How can I get video playback on the screen aside from installing the USB AV socket from the mini, or hiding some third party unit inside the dash?

My DVD changer in the boot or trunk as some call it has failed to play any video whatsoever, am I right in saying there is no video out going from this changer to the correct terminal as I don't have the pro nav options/package?

Would a retrofit to NBT with the larger screen solve the video playback issues and give me access to the 6NR anyway?
