I have mine configured for so long so I can't even remember how it used to react before enabling VLD. If you have fog lamp, with VLD enabled, I believe turn on/off the fog lamps will cause the headlights to move from side to side.
I have an M2 so no fogs. Oh well I'll just assume the coding worked lol. Thanks for the info. I'll keep an eye out to see if they work while I'm driving at night.

If you have cornering lamps/fogs, if not active before, they will also turn on when turn wheel in garage.

Unfortunately my M2 doesn't have either of those. I'll just have to go for a drive at night and see what happens.

Just incase anyone else stumbles upon this thread wondering the same thing, I did eventually find out how to see if the VLD coding has worked while parked. The headlights have to be set to auto. My issue was that I had them turned on manually because I was coding in the daylight. At dusk, turn the car on, set the lights to auto, and then turn the high beams on and you'll see them move from left to right.

Can anyone confirm whether I can code anti-dazzle on my LCI F30 and have to tunnel effect? I have a 340i produced on 2016-03-11.

I have the following lighting options:
