Unfortunately my M2 doesn't have either of those. I'll just have to go for a drive at night and see what happens.

Just incase anyone else stumbles upon this thread wondering the same thing, I did eventually find out how to see if the VLD coding has worked while parked. The headlights have to be set to auto. My issue was that I had them turned on manually because I was coding in the daylight. At dusk, turn the car on, set the lights to auto, and then turn the high beams on and you'll see them move from left to right.
