It may be time to invest in a radar. I have Escort Redline and it has saved me plenty of times

I never go more then 10 over. Haven’t had a speeding ticket in over 40 years. It even saves on gas.

I had my e46 for about 10 years with no speeding tickets. Got my 328 f30 in Oct and already got my first ticket. Sobriety test passed but no front licence plate and a speeding ticket. A stupid Honda was trying to race and my stupid self went for it. Winner got busted right away. I got a catless dp, fmic, and cp pending install but not so motivated to install it anymore. Maybe f30 sticks out more, maybe loud injen intake didn't help lol.

Just curious, is it standard procedure in where you are to get a sobriety test when you get caught speeding? How fast were you actually going and what was the PSL? What prompted the LEO to do a sobriety test?

No it's not standard. I originally got pulled over on Superbowl Sunday. I had drinks several hours before getting pulled over but the cop thought I might have been drunk. Didn't help that my passanger was a bit drunk and probably smelled like alcohol. I'm usually pretty nice and cool with police officers but this guy was a complete ass. Even his partner wss making faces at the comments he was making. He asked my passanger in the back to pull down his window, faced him, and asked and question. When my passanger answered he asked if he was talking to him or the driver, and told him to keep his effin mouth shut (it was clearly directed to him). Then during my sobriety text he kept asking if I thought I was cool speeding in a bmw and kept calling me an asshole. I stayed polite, did my test, and went my way.

Sometimes it's hard to maintain your cool in a situation as such but thankfully you followed that rule. Most likely a wise choice.

Demand discovery and use the tape to discredit the officer for his unprofessional conduct. You can make a case he so incompetent at his job that the court cant have any faith in his usage of radar or to gadge someone speed properly, or his statements.

Well ghee didn't even show up to court so i won the case. Honestly, I've never dealt with as officer like that so I didn't even think about using a tape.
