Roofing nail in my run flat
I have just discovered a roofing nail in the tread of my rear run flat. Not sure how long it has been there for. The tyre pressure monitor says all is well. So should I:
1 Leave it there to preserve the airseal, but I am not sure whether the nail has fully punctured the casing or: 2 Pull it out as if I keep driving on it it will eventually work its way through the casing and cause a leak. I know long term I will have to replace/repair this tyre. Thanks for your help

bring it to a tyre shop, then pull out the nail. if it leaks you can get it fixed on the spot. if not, go on your way.

Just make sure your tire shop has a leverless mounting machine (and a tech who knows how to use it) so they don't gouge the lip of your wheel.
