Anyone for Beige?

Anybody gone for the beige interior on their M Sport.

Would love to see some real world photos if anyone has any. Not that keen on black in bigger cars and I'm not brave enough for the red. I'm not sure the beige will work with the black headlining though. Not a great choice in my opinion.

Cheers

I'm not a fan of the black either but I went for it as I didn't want beige carpets, especially not in the boot.

I have the best of both with the beige seats and trims with the dark carpets/headlining. They work well for me

Garage List
That Cashmere Beige with black carpets/fittings looks rather nice

The all-beige interior on that Norwegian F31 looks a bit too pale and the fact that certain fittings are always black, e.g. the handbrake lever/gaiter and gear shift console, makes it look a bit 'mix-n-match'.

Never occurred to me that the all-beige interior on the F30 would include a beige boot (although I suppose you could always get a boot liner), but keeping it clean and looking nice will be a challenge. The Mrs went for beige in her RX and then what does she do...? She gets black floor mats. Women!

My 6p worth to the OP:

(1) Beige looks great but is a sod to keep prestine. Looks a shiny yellow, especially the driver's seat, after 6 months use. Don't wear Blue Jeans as you'll stain the seat bottom and have a two tone seat! Therefore, most impractical and not good for re-sale.

(2) Black leather with a Black car is pretty depressing. Like a hearse! Need to specify a sunroof to lift the mood. Extra expense.

(3) Coral Red Leather is the best. It's not a bright Red and looks very chic with a Black car or with nearly every exterior colour, except Red.

(4) Choose a different exterior colour as Black is tres, tres difficult to keep clean. Shows up swirl marks and scratches very easily. As impractical as a Beige interior.

(5) Therefore, a Black car with a Beige interior is totally impractical IMVHO. A double whammy!

(6) A Black/Beige car perfectly suits your Forum Name colour-wise but it could promote your early death from cleaning!

NOPE you will be surprised I never cleaned it once in 12 months looked as good as new when I sold it.
NO sticky fingered kids though, and rubber over mats for the foot wells.

Do you guys really see lighter colours as being more difficult to keep clean?

I've never found it that way, if anything I find black is the worst to keep looking clean, as every speck of dust or dirt mark shows up.

I know many feel black interiors look and stay cleaner, but look closely, dirt is dirt and marks are marks.

Every car I've ever had with black trim takes just the same effort to keep A1, as lighter trims.

Love it, makes for a very classy interior. The mix of trim is a superb balance, lifts the car's interior IMO.

I had the lemon leather in my 330d, always felt good to be in.

The only car I had with Black interior was the M6, and that has been the hardest car to get shot of, I hate black interiors they make cars look so cramped.

You are so right. Nothing as off putting as shiny black cracking cow. Feels so depressing. One would need a Psychotherapy Pack as an addition to the Service Pack.

I hated that orange leather too. Yes, they've changed the red to a sort of light red wine colour. It actually looks like red coral - hence the name!

Now eat your words + your hat!
