M Sport Pedals

Just wondering if anyone has installed the M Sport Pedals (accelerator and brake pedals) on their GT. The BMW accessories site does not indicate if the pedals will fit the GT, but I don't know why they wouldn't. Sadly, this goes back to my frustration with the BMW Accessories site which I mentioned in an earlier post.

Hey Mark,
I ordered some from ebay a couple of weeks ago. They should arrive soon but really who knows.. (shipped from Shanghai)

Once I get them installed I'll post some pics.

I installed the "no drill" aluminum ones in my GT with no problem. I would expect the OEM ones to fit just fine as well.

Where did you get your "no drill" covers? I found a set at ebay (AC Schnitzer) and a set at Bavarian Auto (although not sure they are "no drill" on sale for $80).

Can you post a pic of yours installed?

I pretty much have concluded that any aluminum pedals that fit a 3 series is going to fit the GT. It would be nice if BMW would include the GT on the accessories site, however.

Are these the OEM pedals or an after market set?

These are aftermarket. (no drill install)
They look pretty good in the pics and were 1/2 the price off the OEM at $45 -shipped to USA.

Wow, you're right. These look just like the OEM. I would really appreciate it if you let me know how they look after you install them.

I'm taking mine in today to have the tint installed. Other than the tint and pedals, the only other mods I want is have the Sport Handbrake (the one with the red stripe) and perhaps the brake caliper covers (http://bavauto.com/shop.asphttp://bavauto.com/shop.asp) installed. I keep reading that the handbrake is an easy install, but might pay for that. The brake caliper covers I can install. I have a friend who owns a tire store and he said I can use one of his stalls.

Super easy,
1) Remove the original rubber pedal cover from the brake and replace with this new one
2) Even easier, the gas cover just slides from the top - down.

No tools needed at all. install time 3 minutes, tops.

NO, these are aftermarket. they were like 40 USD shipped to Florida.
I'm sure you will find them cheaper in TaoBao.

Does it means just slip it on and attach (or replace the original rubber pedals) ?

You only have to remove the brake rubber cover and replace it with the new one. The gas pedal cover fits on top of the oem one.
