Triton Leader
It looks like the Triton Leader left out of Bremerhaven on the 13th of October, bound for America with my 335i aboard! Anyone else on the boat?

550i GT on Triton Leader
Yup, was able to track Triton Leader till they passed the Azores, looks like TL is scheduled to arrive in Manzanillo, Mexico on 10-27 and perhaps hit Oxnard by November 6th, can't wait to see my new 2013.

Triton Leader - status
Ships still not showing on the tracking, but hopefully she's getting close to the Caribbean Sea! Picked up a schedule from Port Hueneme and noted they now have Triton Leader's arrival pegged for 11-6-2012, getting closer!

I was beginning to think I might be the only one on that boat. Glad to hear someone else is on it and that it finally has an arrival date in America!

Triton Leader update
Tell me about it, I am anxious to get my hands on my new toy and have not yet figured out if today's technology is a curse or a blessing. I have been unsuccessful in tracking that darn ship, does not show up anywhere, makes me wonder if it flys.
That said, I was concerned with the storm activity so I gave my CA a call at Crevier, Brad tells me that the TL not only avoided the storm but will arrive in Port Hueneme a day early - Nov 5th! Hope he's right. |

My new X1 is on the Triton Leader so I'm glad to hear she made it past Sandy and will still be here on time. I was starting to think the ship had slowed to avoid the storm and might still be on the Caribbean side of the canal.

FYI it appears that the Triton Leader is about to transit the Miraflores locks of the Panama Canal at roughly 3pm Pacific time. You can see it on web cam http://www.pancanal.com/eng/photo/camera-java.html

Screen captures of the canal transit for anyone with a car on Triton Leader. She will shortly be in the Pacific and on her way to California roughly 3,000 nautical miles away.

Triton Leader has hit the Pacific!
Received an email from marinetraffic.com of the great news earlier this evening. Bad news is she's out of range again, but our newly minted BMW's are close to home.
Thank you for the photos through the canal, awesome job! http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/def...2012%2010:43PM |

Actually if you refresh you can still see the ship. It is anchored for the night just off the coast. I expect to see it depart Panama in the morning.
Ain't technology amazing? |

Triton Leader Position - 10-31-2012
Friends, we go for weeks with no update from the TL to my receipt of emails from marinetraffic.com every 10 minutes or so. Not sure what's worse, not seeing the ship for days or seeing updated posts on her location every 10 minutes while traveling at less than 12 knots!
Be careful for what you wish for..... |

The TL is just passing Oceanside CA with the next stop Port Hueneme. My new beauty is very close - even got a call from my CA that her new rims are being powder coated with gloss black as I write!

Triton Leader Moored
Oh yeah, offered to my CA to drive up to PH and pick it up myself....he suggested that I wait or be arrested by the port authorities. I tried...
