2015 428i xDrive GC

Hi, Shawn:

I just took delivery of a 2015 428i xDrive GC - will your instructions apply to this model and year as well? I would really like to auto-fold the mirrors and to be able to close the windows and roof with the key. Please PM me the info if you have time--thank you.

Normally default is 5A HEX, which is 90 Decimal, and since it is in 0.5s steps, it is 45 seconds.

What happens if you set it to Werte=08?

Yes, I've used it for my wife's 2011 128i, but they aren't able to code F-chassis cars yet due to the "network" that replaced the canbus in the older cars. They tell me they'll have the ability to code F chassis this year, but it will require a new OBDII adapter - their current BT unit won't work for that.

All that aside, BMWhat works well with their current BT adapter for checking and clearing fault codes and setting up their "parameter" dashboard to monitor things like coolant temp, oil temp, etc. in real-time. Essentially, everything but coding.

Hi Shawn,

Firstly, thanks to everyone on here that has created such great guides for coding the Feries. I have been following this thread for a while and decided to have a go at this (wish me luck)

Sean could you kindly send me the necessary software and any required pins?

I would if I could, but it seems you have not enabled your PM function.

I just checked - it's switched on, do I need to create so many posts before it enables?

Same. Initial Target Connection differs by chassis, and different chassis have different EC's, but process is same.
