35 offset on 18X8.5 wheels?
So tire rack states these will work on the F30 but to me something seems off.
BMW stock wheels 18X8.5 (on a staggered setup) use 47 offset, so won't these have some issues with a 35 offset and that same width? http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...e=245HR8LM60XL |

actually those 47et are only factory specs, factory specs are very conservative and sink in. on the aftermarket side anything from a 18x8.5 35et -45et will work but i would stay close to the 35et, 38et. now as for a staggered set up like a 18x9.5 do 45et

Correct! Generally stock wheels are very conservative, allowing for a slightly wider wheel and/or lower offset.
8.5" ET35 can work perfect on all four corners. If you wish to go staggered, 8.5" ET35 Front & 9.5" ET45 rear will be a perfect fit.

Now my plan is to use these on a future M3 as well (in 3 years). Will I have any issues with that? I am guessing I will need spacers for the rear since it will be flared out more.

M3's traditionally can take much wider wheels than standard 3-series. In fact, the OEM M wheels will likely be wider than these are which would make using these on an M a bit of a downgrade.
Maybe purchase new wheels later down the line?
