For those that already have a FSC code, the 2016 Map is available from here:

https://drive.google.com/open?id=0Bx...ElnTmhxanB3OFU
Tried to download but it's saying I need permission?

Has anyone had any luck downloading the 2017 maps from the connected drive portal?

I'm trying to download the "Road Map AUSTRALIA / NEW ZEALAND Next 2017"

I'm getting the old problem, where the config file doesn't download.

Has anyone successfully downloaded the config file for the above?

You will need to have a current "USB Map Updates" subscription.

Link Below is for the Australian portal, its the second box at the bottom called "Download map"
You will need to login to the portal first then paste the link in the same window.

https://www.bmw-connecteddrive.com.a...tal/map-update

Regards.

For anyone that has a similar problem, seems the portal is broken, see response from BMW Australia.

"Thank you for your email. We are currently doing some upgrades for the online Map updates to streamline to processes. We expect it to be back up and running by the end of January. If you would like to update your maps immediately, you can do so at your preferred BMW Dealership."

The unique FSC code is tied back to your VIN# so even with the map files, you need the FSC code to enter into your iDrive interface.

Hi James,

As HFW said, I already have my FSC code.

If you could host them up for download it would be much appreciated

Regards,

George

If you search the coding forum you will find a 35 page thread on how it's done.
