SOLD SOLD SOLD

Never installed, still in the box CG Precision 3.5" R-1 race rear section (muffler delete) with the quad polished tips.

I have a bad case of the can't make up my mind so I end up stock piling parts for no good reason. As a result I have both a Borla S-type and this CG R-1 sitting in boxes in the garage.

Accepting offers! Goes for $1500+ online new. Located in Germantown MD. Willing to ship also as I still have the original box.

Here is the actual exhaust on ECS Tuning's site:

I tried selling it, but didn't get many bites. I will be going FBO eventually so I think it will be a better pairing with a catless DP than a muffler delete, so this needs to go.

I would assume as long as you get a diffuser to accommodate the quad tips it should fit. I've seen plenty of 328s with dual/quad setups on the forums.

I know from looking at a Meisterchaft exhaust from the past that the 335i version won't fit 328i because the exhaust pipe near the front on the 335i is bigger or something like that and won't fit the 328i. But I'm not completely sure about this one.

FYI to anyone interested, this rear section will only mate to the CG 3.5" midpipe and CG only makes midpipes for the F30 N55 platform

Here's the exact product link:

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-cg-preci...ps/0003r1~cgp/

Anyway, I have not had any local interest up to this point and I'd rather have the $$ so I'm open to shipping now. I have the original box it came in.

I didn't even think about this until I saw your post. I bought it with the assumption it would fit the stock exhaust, since it did not say anywhere that you need the CG midpipe. But I guess it could require a little bit of fab work from your exhaust shop to add a small 3.5" piece to your stock pipe so this thing will slide over it.

Anyway, I'm willing to adjust the price to account for this. I'm open to all offers since I also bought a Borla and would like to get some $$$ back.

Bump! If people are being put off by the fact that it needs a little work to mate to your stock system, it should be a pretty easy and quick job for any competent exhaust shop. Or you can pick up a CG 3.5" midpipe and save a lot of $$$ over buying a whole system from them.

I would like to move this along, so I'm open to any reasonable offers.

Any aftermarket diffuser that is made to accomodate the quad tips. There are many vendors that offers them - OEM style, M-Performance style, and others.

My understanding is that many, if not most quad diffusers place the cutouts so that the right outer tip interferes with the battery box, requiring a custom exhaust fit. Am I wrong about this?

I have not heard anything about this. The quad exhausts I've seen are all advertised as completely bolt on. Maybe someone else can confirm.
