3M Paint Defender?

Does anyone have experience with this product? If so what were the results?

I don't have any experience but I do recall reading another BMW member try this and he had a horrible time getting the stuff off once he decided it looked bad. Quite possibly installer error too but I just remember when I saw that thread thinking it was a product I'd pass on.

It is fine.

I have it professionally applied by an auto body shop. It is as glossy as a clear coat and not as thick as a standard XPel or 3M film.
