F30 Headlight modification with e90 parts

I've owned a 2006 325i for almost 6 years now. I upgraded everything to LCI including the headlights. I've just purchased a 2013 335i M sport.

Here is my only complain so far and I'm hoping someone can provide some guidance... I hate not having LED turn signals! Obviously I painted these myself and installed umnitza LEDs. But look at how sexy they are (ignore the hood gap). I want this sexy look in my F30.

What can be done?!

Either what Mike said or a completely custom, one-off setup.

It seems like the F80 has LED turning signals. There has to be a way to fit those into F30. I can't be the first person to have that idea. Lol

Is the M3 using F30 headlights or 4 series headlights? The M3 has full LED lighting available, with Xenon adaptives standards. The 4 also has full LED available, while the 3 currently does not. The 4 and the M3 both look to have a slightly different shaped headlight compared to the 3 series.

Edit.. Yarr that be the case. See here; the 335 (blue) has a sharp corner at the bottom of the headlight close to the grille, where as the 435 is more fluid, I think the M3, similar to the E90 setup, uses the coupe headlights since they are more 'aggressive'.

The M3 and F32 share headlights. The 3 series are different as you suspected.

Your E90's headlights are beautiful btw.

Only the F80s with full LEDs have LED turns anyway. The HID ones use PY24W halogen bulbs.

Thank you! It's my favorite thing about my car!

I know they seem quite different but if the housing is opened, there has to be a way to cram some e90 LEDs in there or something else.

You are right! I have halogens installed in car now. Purchased a set of used xenons to retrofit so hopefully i'll have enough time and resources to figure something out

This is what I'd like to frankenstein. Pardon my pixelmator skills.

I've already found a set of OEM e90 LCI LEDs. Now trying to source the mask from broken LCI headlights.
The LED modules have a massive heat sink so there will need to be some dremel action in the back part of headlight.
I plan on blacking out all chrome when I open the headlights.

I managed to source one side of the LED Mask from eBay.

This should be interesting. Not much modding has been done on F30 xenons.

Sourced another LED Mask from a used headlight..

Now just need to figure out how to wire LEDs to work with turn signal.

Hopefully I can sell both the pair of lenses and projectors to get some $$$ back

Plan on doing full blackout as part of the install.

Found a f30 test headlight! Best part is that it was free

Now just need to find the time to test it out.

I gathered all the parts but decided not to try this project as I was afraid of damaging my headlights.
