BMW F30 335d m Sport 75000miles (i've had car 4yrs with 35k) do I remap stage 1. ( reputable garage ) Not case of ragging it everywhere but its nice to know its there and i will put my foot down occasionally..

Hey there, I am impressed your kept your car without a remap for so long, do it, you will love it! I had my previous E91 remapped by https://www.gkrperformance.co.uk/ and got my current F36 done by the same company and it is great. I used a more local reseller to put the map on for me.
As for the gearbox remap, I read up for a month comparing the xhp one and alpina, and opted for the latter, partly as it was free and I could do it myself. I think the 8hp gearbox is pretty good anyway, especially when coming from the previous series of car with the 6hp auto box.
