Instrument cluster dead & battery discharge message - please help!!

For a few weeks have been getting occasional "increased battery discharge when stationary" when turning on/off. A few times over 2 months there's been a transmission fault message too.

Yesterday when starting there were 4 message for airbags, seatbelt, transmission and hood open. Instrument cluster is mostly off and milage etc is frozen. Tried to charge the battery for 5 hours today but everything is still off.

Codes found are B7F67B & E11465

I'm in Sweden so temperature has been -11 the past few days. But still wondering why even just a few hour charge hasn't helped as the car still runs so it's not completely dead. Sometimes the alarm randomly turns on after locking the car at night.

Does this look like issues with battery or instrument cluster? Can anyone give any opinions please? Had the car for 2 months only.

It could be the battery, but could be a lot of other things, including the instrument cluster. Disconnect the battery negative terminal, charge it with the charger connected directly to it. After charging over night if it doesn't read at least 12.8 volts it probably needs to be replaced. If it does read 12.8v or more you have a parasitic current draw somewhere. Youtube videos show how to use a DMM to track that down.

Your codes indicate the dashboard is the likely problem. Enter them here, which shows possible causes and cures. https://bmwfault.codes/

If the battery is original, I would say it's lived a good life at 8-9 yrs.

That's not a reason to replace it when it's so easy to test, especially if it turns out not to be the problem. You don't have to search far to find multiple threads where advice to replace the battery turned out to be wrong.
