Odd puddle/entry light defect
I tried to search on this but I'm not sure what they're officially called - the roundel projections that shine on the ground from the bottom of the door card. My front two are oddly defective. It looks like part of a gasket or adhesive has come loose and landed in the projection area. The obstructions render sharply, I'd expect a physical defect to have some fuzziness. They have not moved.
Is this a common occurrence? The rear ones are fine (I have a sedan), which might make sense, the front doors are/were probably used a lot more than the rears, more slamming, more jarring whatever loose. First pic is driver door, second is passenger front. I've got 10 days left on CPO, I'm wondering if it's worth taking the car in to get these replaced for the $50 deductible. (This is the only thing that's gone wrong on my car... in the 3500 miles I've had it)

You can just take them out and remove the logo filter. It looks like some kind of solvent may have gotten on them and ate the logo. Probably was Armor All that they wiped on the doors. BTW never use that shit.
My personal opinion is that the logo is tacky as fuck so if you just take the filter out it leaves a nice clear, diffuse puddle light.

It's possible. The car was missing the front tow hook cover so I assume the prior owner had a tow hook front plate mount = likely "modder". The car also had non-OEM floor mats that I didn't notice until after I was long gone from the dealer (5 hours away). Maybe the dealer had 'restored' these items and cheaped out on them.

For me the giveaway is the green color. OEM is black and blue. They snap right out, looking at the back would confirm if they're OEM or not. If OEM the filters are replaceable.
