just to be nosy

Hi,

I'm looking a 320i m sport xdrive, however many people tell me it wouldn't suit me cos of my age, I'm 25 so got me curious what are current owners ages if that's not too rude to ask?

Apologies in advance!!

Also manual or sports auto.

Cheers

There are people on here in their 60's driving 3's. I had an E46 328i when I first got out of college. $40k car back when that was still a lot for a car. I was 23 years old and still had people at work asking why I didn't get a 5 series, like a 3 was a kids car or something. I was still a kid!! Now, the 3 is the new 5, 1 and 2 what the 3 was back then.

At the end of the day, get what you want. Who cares what people think "fits your age..."

I bought a 335 MSport last year and people asked, why didn't you get a 535 or 550. If I wanted it, I would have purchased it.

I would say 5 series and 7 series are more mature. But everything else fits any age. Get what you want.

19 - 79 pretty much covers it. I was drooling over all Bimmers when I was a teenager, but I would have chosen the 3er. Now I'm considerably beyond being a teenager and I still choose the 3er.

This. I have a friend with a C63 AMG and he's 19 years old... no problem

I'm 29 and have a 335i. When I was 22 I bought a brand new Infiniti which costs more than a 320i here in the states and never thought it wouldn't suit me because of my age. It was a fun to drive car and I really wanted one so I got one.

There is no proper age to drive anything, if you want it and have the means, get one.

I completely agree with ajfriedm87 and chylld.
I just turned 20 but I got my f30 335xi when I was 19 in January. I've always had pretty nice cars that sometimes they didn't suit my age like my previous A6, it was basically a supercharged dad sedan, never seen anyone younger own one. But if I love the car and enjoy it, who cares?

If anything, for every person that doesn't think it suits you, there will more people impressed by you.
Also, Sports Auto. (They shift sooo quickly!)

It wouldn't suit your age because you're getting a sedan at 25 years of age, not a coupe. Go out and get a 228i. HAVE FUN!

I got my first BMW when I was in my 20's and it was a 2002 (many moons ago). If you like the 320 go for it as it will be your first of many BMW's. Starting young with the brand is GREAT!

I agree with the general sentiment here; drive a car for yourself, not others.
