Does the 320 have the same "ceiling" as the 328? Meaning will both cars with a jb4 be equal? I know the exhaust is a smaller diameter in the 320, but from what I've read on here, that looks to be the only difference.

No other mods besides 235 tires on the rear lol I was running 91 oct with about 30% E85, and this run was made on a cool day and my city is so close to sea level, maybe about 50 ft above sea level

328i's have a 10:1 compression ratio whereas 320i's have 11:1; I'd say that the 320i can take better advantage of E85, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong but i also think the 328i has a stronger/bigger driveshaft

If you plan on getting a Jb4, I'd consider driving your 320i with so much care, do oil changes more frequently, and keep an eye on that oil temp gauge

Sounds like you are pretty sketched out by having that on your car, so I'll probably pass. Was just curious and seeing if its worth it to add more oomph safely. I'll have the car for about another year until the G20 ordering starts. Thanks for the input.

Always look at your oil temp in a turbo car. Never gas it heavy till the oil temp rises. Jb4 or not. I’ve been jb4 for 2 years, dinan before that. Jb4 is the best piggyback. A miracle for the 320. Personally, I haven’t come across a faster tuned 328i. It also outruns stock 340i/35is. The 320 also loves meth or e85z, or just some good ol 100 octane. |

0-60 Times With Jb4 On 2013 Bmw F30 328i Xdrive
Hey guys,
I just got the JB4 for my 2013 BMW F30 328I X-DRIVE. I had the stage 1 before and tried it for a 5 months. My best numbers with the Stage 1 is 0-60 was 5.04 sec with a 1/4 mile time of 13.88 sec. I was very impressed. Here are the results I got using the JB4 stage 2 using various maps: Map 0 = 0-60 5.68 sec 1/4 mile= 14.31 Map 1 = 0-60 4.97 sec 1/4 mile= 13.76 Map 2 = 0-60 4.88 sec 1/4 mile= 13.64 Map 7 = 0-60 4.69 sec 1/4 mile= 13.55 (not recomended to use this map unless car is modified) I took a chance to see. This is pretty impressive for a car that can numbers like that and still get 23 city and 35 highway mpg. I used to own a 1995 Camaro Z28 which I spent tons on mods: exhaust, shift kit, throttle body, ignition, ecu, headers, you name it. The best times I got at the track were 0-60 in about 4.4 sec 0-60 and 13.28 1/4 mile. Stock was 5.8 sec and 1/4 mile was 14.4. Not worth it for the money spent on mods. JB4 was less than $500.00 Great product by BURGER MOTORSPORTS Frank M |

If you didnt change your gears in the Z, you're car wasn't performing as well as it could have. No experience with JB4...flash tuned here

Not experienced with jb4 personally, but from what I've read I believe map 2 is best for cars with a downpipe

0-60 and 1/4 mile times for BMS stage 2 2013 328i xdrive
I just ran 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for my BMS stage 2 on my 2013 328i xdrive 4 door. I added a drop in K&N filter. Everything else is stock on the car. Very impressed, when I tested this stock I had a 5.4-5.6 sec average 0-60, and 14.3-14.5 average 1/4 mile.
I was running map 2 I attached picks of the run: 0-60= 4.85 1/4 mile= 13.43 Anyone else run their 328i with stage 2 and mods? |
