Got my vin!!

Hey guys i got my vin today. I ordered 03/04 finished production 03/18. 800 number is now saying awaiting release to carrier. The last 7 of my vin are F476982. Can someone decode for me? Bmwvin.com is down for some reason.

Server issues. BMWvin says it could take 1-2 weeks before your vin shows up on there. Mine still has not shown up either. Thinking of just asking my CA for the Vin

Which dealer in ny did you go to?

Smithtown. Close to home. I nearly went to NJ to get it but just didn't want the drive. Mine went into production around the 13-14th of March. They say it will be done the 25th.

Oh i work in Melville live in queens but ended up getting mine from Wide World in Spring Valley upstate

world wide gave me a good price. I think I paid 200 more on Long Island in fees, but I figured after the drive, tolls, etc it's not a big savings so I figured I'd stay local.

Only reason I would have gone to NJ is if I wanted to do 7 MSD's on the car.

Mine won't be finished until Monday according to the phone and website. :-)

I can live through you for the time being and watch yours arrive :-)

You going to ask the dealer for some freebies? I'd like to ask him to throw in some all weather mats and what not. When I got my Infiniti they gave me a first aid kid for the trunk, umbrella, hat, and maybe one or two other things. Didn't ask for it. I got a great price on the G37 with a friends employee discount so was surprised they gave me stuff

Dennis what free stuff are you going to get or hoping to get? To this day it still shocks me that a 50k + car dosent come with all weather floor mats.

Got me, this is my first BMW, so I'm new to this process. Hopefully you'll catch a ship soon. I'm deployed right now and won't be home until mid May, so I've got some time to burn anyway. It doesn't lessen the anticipation though, that's for sure!

Anything lol. I like free stuff :-) Even though I'm sure I would have paid for it somehow.
