Sorry to see this! Glad everyone is ok! I have an EB 340 too... apparently the best colour (least likely to get hit) is white! I’ve had a fair few white cars, BMWs always look good in Alpine White (in my opinion) and it’s free!! Well until BMW follows VW, Ford etc and starts charging for it (at least those brands do here in the UK)

Lol i wanted a gti as a daily driver and eventually get a m3 as a weekend. The R at the moment are hard to get in low miles.

The GTI is a better value. Very close to same performance - HP and handling, and quite a bit cheaper. Plus as OP mentioned, easier to find. But I love how the Golf R is so sleeper looking - just needs better wheels.

FWIW: "The General" has been around in some form since 1963. They are wholly owned by American Family Insurance, AmFam, which is a Fortune 500 Company.

As "crappy" as they are perceived they are long-standing with significant financial backing.

It is often associated with sub-prime or low income drivers but usually when it comes to fault the insurance company will pay out to the victims. The person who has the insurance will likely get screwed and rates skyrocket, sucks for them but they should have paid attention.

Honestly though, please add VIN number of your car in this post so if gets totaled and it'll be bought by someone that'll ship it out of US and, someone will have a chance to find it. Sadly, lots of cars like that end up in Poland.

Sorry for your loss OP but, you're alive and that's what counts.
I watched this for the third times, quite enjoy it.

I saw one man work with passion and professional.

he did it in short time too

15 days of metal work. I've seen his videos before. Quite impressive.

And 12 days for paint work seem ages compare to his work.

Are you confident that you are injury-free from that impact (neck, back, etc). Not unusual for those type of accidents to cause some level of spinal injury that is not always readily/immediately apparent. Have you reviewed this with your insurance provider? Hate to see issue arise after you have formally settled and signed off on all liability. (And "no", I am not an ambulance chaser. Have a couple of friends who have dealt with that mess.)

Thanks bro! I was actually going to get a 2013 e92 m3 before i got the 340i. But hearing about the rod bearings failing and throttle body going out. So i decided not to. But maybe in the future. Don't get me wrong, that v8 revs all the way to 8200 rpm. That test drive was amazing!
