Those all look amazing.

I could never pull it off as I live in a city. Not a day goes by when I don't hold my breath driving around while dodging pot holes.

Don't think the offset would work on F30.
Actually, it would if it's the MSport wheel; Style 351M.

The offsets are very close to the F30. It's 33 on the front vs. 34/36 of the F30 and 44 rear vs. 47 on the F30.

Where it gets a bit tricky is the overall diameter as you're going from a 225/40 series tire to a 245/40 in the front, and, from a 255/34 series tire to a 275/35 in the rear. I believe this increases the overall diameter to the tune of ~20mm; which affects the speedo some.

F10 wheels fit perfect on F30, slightly mote aggressive widths and offsets and slightly wider and taller tires.

F10 19" style 351:
F: 8.5x19" ET33, 245/40-19
R: 9x19" ET44, 275/35-19
f30.bimmerpost.com

F10 20" style 373:
F: 8.5x20" ET33, 245/35-20
R: 9x20" ET44, 275/30-20
f30.bimmerpost.com

The taller F10 tire sizes instead helps to correct the speedo, since all BMW show higher speed than actual.

Pretty much guaranteed to bend wheels if you go 20. Would be awful with run flats.

Largest diamater i'd go is 19". 18" is the best all around size, in my opinion.

20's on mine. Rotary forged (about 17lbs). No problems in 16 months of ownership. Ride quality a bit better since I am running not RFTs tires now. Zero regrets.

If you don't mind, could you post some references that back that up as I'm genuinely interested?

I run 20's and understand I take a chance of damaging the rims with less sidewall, but I've driven on some pretty crappy roads in downtown Atlanta and it hasn't been any more of an issue than when I had OEM rims, as I've avoided potholes the exact same way. I can't speak for run flats, as I had no desire to run them with the new wheels, but the ride is every bit as good as when I had OEM 18s as well. Maybe slightly louder, not sure if it's the wheels or going from a/s run flats to mpss, but not annoyingly so at all.

I sure see a lot of hate for 20s on here and am curious where it comes from. To me 20s look perfect on the current gen and I don't plan on tracking my car. I haven't seen anything other than general statements that it's a bad idea.

What am I missing?

Not everyone likes /wants the M-sport I'm betting. I have a Sport Line with 18s..I don't want 20s nor do I want an M-sport......to each their own.

I understand if you don't want 20's or M Sport, but those who want 20's are obviously concerned about aesthetics, so why wouldn't they want M Sport, which is obviously far better aesthetically than no line? :
