Thank you! Have you tried test fitting it yet?

Also, any issues with quality in terms of appearance? I have not received mine yet.

I haven't tried test fitting it. Quality looks to be good. Can't find anything wrong with it.

curious about the two holes too.
if you can post some pictures about that when you install zman that would be great.

Will do. Just waiting to pick up the exhaust from a fellow member. I've been having a hard time getting ahold of him.

here's a picture.. the left side is the rear of the car. the hole is way off to the right (going towards the front of the car.

I didn't bother to redrill the diffuser, as the mounting is rock solid without it. I usually have OCD about these things, but as it's clearly a mistake, i can deal with it.

One could redrill it to match the alignment of the hole, but it truly appears to be superfluous, as it doesn't affect the stability or positioning in the slightest.

Looks are 100% match to OEM, mounting is 80% - together, at 90% of OEM for 1/2 the price, i'm happy.

Thank you! With my OCD I will have to re-drill.

OP, any luck with your install this weekend?

zman1237 did you ever get the diffuser installed? If so, any issues? Please post pics.

Sorry for the wait, I haven't forgotten! I Had a difficult time tracking down an exhaust. Wasted a lot of time with a member who vanished and didn't keep his word...anyways! I found one this week from an awesome local. Plan on getting it installed sometime next week and I will definitely post some pictures! The exhaust I purchased did not come with the electronic valve control. Will my valve control from my current muffler work? Not a big deal as i will probably keep it open 24/7, just wondering if they are the same control units. Thanks

Thank you. And yes, your valve actuator will work. Just swap over to your new exhaust.

If you plan to secure the valve open, unplug the actuator as well as there has been reports of the internal motor chewing through its gears. The reason is because without the valve hitting the open and close position in the exhaust, the motor will over travel to its limit.

Bav Auto is having 10% off everything sale on Friday, 10/30. Better than eBay prices on the rear diffusers.
