Whose Car is Headed to Bremerhaven This Week
For any of you on the west coast, and have a car on order??
Call 1.844.4GENIUS (443-6487), Than give them you production number. BMW is shipping a batch to Bremerhaven Germany to get loaded on the ship. My car was on the train today from Dingolfing to Bremerhaven. If yours was on order and started production a t least a week ago you might be heading to port. I will track the ship once our cars have been assigned to it. your cars will also be on the same ship. |

Does this mean the reason my car has been sitting for about a week is because the boat had to wait for your car? ...LOL |

My GC (PCD bound) finished production on 01/21/15 but is only showing as 'at the port waiting for a shipping vessel, no shipping info at this time' since yesterday only. Daily checks on the WWL site still show 'no records'
Looking at the WWL records, it seems the newest (going by sequential VIN numbering) GC to be loaded is XXX5825 (mineral white 428GC born on 01/15/15, loaded on Topeka on 01/28/15) - which is nearly a whole 2 weeks! My car (xxx5887) is only 62 away from the abovementioned GC so hoping she'd loaded sometime soon

It's funny I've never actually tried the BMW Genius line (I just did based on your advice). They are definitely more chatty (more detailed) than the folks on the 1-800 line, and more direct too. I'll divert my daily incessant bugging to them from now on

Called BMW Genius today and the guy told me my car is on the ship Freedom, and that it left port. He said he can give me a tracking number but I was unable to write it down at the time and said I can call back. I called back and the new person I talked to said they can't give me a tracking number...

Mine boarded the ship on 1/31 in Bremerhaven. Sat at the port for 2 weeks. Anyway, my car is on the Equuleus Leader if that rings a bell to anyone. I submitted my initial order on 10/29/14.

Could someone explain how to work the WWL website? Whenever I input my VIN as the Cargo ID it returns as "No Records ". How do you pull up the list of VINs? I think my GC is on the vessel Freedom or the Taroga based on when they left Bimmerhaven port but I don't know for sure.

1-800 number switched to 'vehicle in transit' this morning (finally)
Rep said vehicle had been loaded since Feb 6 (?) with an ETA of Feb 26 (Charleston). Apparently, my car caught a ride on a K Line America ship, the 'American Highway' (Panama registered, Call Sign H3AJ). No wonder it didn't show up on the WWL site Anyone have any experience pulling up info on a K Line ship?

Yep I'm seeing that. Not as much info as a main WWL ship though and strangely enough its showing SGSIN as port of destination (hopefully its outdated information).
