Delay at the VPC??

My car arrived at NJ (Bayonne) on 3/26 and has been there ever since. It was scheduled to be put on a carrier today and delivered tomorrow, 4/4.

BMWNA now told me that it might not be released until Monday and my CA said that there is a backlog at the VPC?

How can this be??
4/4 makes 8 WEEKS already! This wait really sucks!!

Any thoughts? I appreciate all advice and help as this is the first BMW I've ever ordered.

hey, sorry I havent heard anything about a delay. I've ordered quite a few cars, but they all come into the port in Brunswick. I will tell you this though, out of the 7 cars I've ordered, the longest ANY of my cars have been in VPC is 2 days.

I currently have a F25 X3 LCI on order for my wife (was built on Tuesday 4/1, and sent to VPC same day) as of this morning, its still at VPC-- go figure..

this wait sucks. Didnt help answer your question much, but since its been this long for you, I'd check into making sure the car didnt get damaged on its way over

It's ok and I thank you anyway. That was exactly my first thought and I asked my CA if the car got damaged. She said no, but she emailed them anyway. No response yet...

Called BMWNA again today and the car is STILL AT THE VPC!!
Should I be worried about this? My CA never stays in contact with me.

My car arrived at Bayonne on 3/24 and was just released this week (4/7) and is now at my dealer. So I would say any day now. It seems to be dependent on maybe any port installed options as well.

I found out that the car was put on a carrier yesterday 4/9 and was supposed to be at the dealer today. It never got there. This is just ridiculous.

My car is on the Phoenix Leader which is supposed to dock at Port Hueneme near LA tomorrow. Then who knows how long until it arrives at my dealer in the Bay Area. Any ideas on possible delays there?

I think I'm one of the few who doesn't care when my car gets here. Doesn't really matter if it's next week or next month. It's not like I've paid for it yet.

Wish I had seen this earlier. I'm in the same situation. My 335 has been stuck at the NJ port for three weeks now going on four. I thought the same thing...that it was damaged or something. My SA keeps saying "this week"...

So apparently there is a backup there.

Just heard that mine is at the dealer as of today. Looks like the Jersey boys finally got their butts in gear.
