Speaker wire colours. And are the front speaker outputs full range?

I'm looking to add a DSP and amp to my 6 speaker base system for the front doors and under seat subs.

Can I use the the front door speakers outputs for the signal to the DSP? i.e. are they full frequency range?

Does anyone know what the wire colours for these speaker outputs are?

Thanks.
Is there a way to tell if my BMW Professional system is the Base or HiFi system as there may be an option to use a harness if my car has a factory amp?

From the VIN decoding your vehicle is the same as mine and that is it has the pro nav (S609A) but it will have base stereo ie. a mid in each door and a sub under each front seat.

There is no separate amp - the iDrive head unit drives everything and carries out the EQ as well.

I was looking at upgrading similar to you but never got around to it - all I did was upgrade the mids in the front doors and added tweeters at the front via a rainbow upgrade set !

You can still use a harness from technic to upgrade the base system - see https://technicpnp.com/

I can see why you didn't take it on, a lot of wiring from the front.

I'm thinking if I can use the Autoleads SOT-976FB Fakra cable. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SOT-976FB...19.m1438.l2649
I believe it's supposed to allow ISO speaker connections to be used inline between the headunit and speakers. That way I can run cables to an amp and back. Does that sound about right?
