Issue with Bluetooth (Song name not updating!)

Hello, I open this thread because I've scoured many like it and haven't found a solution to my problem.

The issue I'm having is when using Spotify through Bluetooth audio the (song name, artist, album name, etc) doesn't update when I change the song and or it goes to the next song.

It does work perfectly through ConnectedDrive when using a cable!

The car is a 2014 BMW 335i (F30) it has options:
S6NS Comfort Telephony W/ Enhanced Smartphone
S6NR Apps
S609 Navigation System Professional
and was built on (2014-02-01)
The IDrive is NBT.

The phone I'm using is an iPhone 12 Pro Max on the latest Software version.
The IDrive is also updated to the latest version that was available to my VIN from the BMW Software Update website, and the Spotify app is also up to date!

Any help is appreciated!

Sounds like you have checked everything except trying an older phone... and if that works using a cable until you get a newer version of software,

I have this problem too. I don't know if it started with ios14 or when I got an iPhone Xr, but at some point this started happening with my device too.

Would love to have a solution.

When spotify is playing song through bt but does not show song info, then push to radio and back to media. It will read song info then….usually. It just sometimes does not connect properly. I have ip 11pro latest ios and updated apps. It just is like that

Go to bmw website and download update for your navigation sistem on a usb. U plug that usb in ur car and update. It will fix u re bluetooth problems. U have instructions on bmw website
