Hello All,

Looking at purchasing a 335i X-DRIVE, it's got everything but an excellent sound system. For the price, I rather go with something aftermarket in the price range of $1,000+ but nothing too crazy. I want to make sure I'm getting every penny's worth, what do you guys recommend?

I went this route with the Morel components( mid speaker with crosssover and tweeters) in the front doors and Morel mids in the rear doors. With a BimmerTech amp. I still have the stock subs currently but plan on getting the Earthquakes.
The amp is probably your most important upgrade. It would make your stock speakers sound a little better and louder but to clean up the sound and make it crisp is where the Morels come into play. This setup will require some extra mechanics skills because you will have to slightly modify things with the speaker adapters and installing the crossover somewhere safe and still operable.
If you want a better sound and more of a plug n play setup with less customizing and fabricating then go with the Bavsound speaker upgrade kit. These kits were made specifically for our cars and are custom fitted so they should just bolt right in. Still need the BimmerTech with these as well. Hope this helps.

If a plug and play is more of your thing, that was tailored specifically for the f30, I highly recommend the Integral Audio setup.

I didn't even know of this plug n play brand Integral for our vehicles. How much do the woofers go for? Since that's all I would need to complete my setup
