WOW! That looks great man! Like i said i love my Carbon fiber one but this is awesome. I like how it sits on the end of the trunk. little more understated then the performance spoiler.

I'm still undecided if I should get this spoiler (painted) or the carbon fiber performance spoiler. I have a GSM 435 and if I go with the CF spoiler, I wouldnt plan on doing anything else (CF wise). I'm not sure if I would have to add another CF piece to balance off the spoiler. Can anyone post more pictures of the spoiler in this thread or an opinion. It might make my decision easier. Thanks

Really like this piece. As much as I WANT to like the carbon fiber spoiler, it just mounts a little too far forward and looks awkward at some angles.

Anyone have this unit on an AW F32 with pics?

Looks great. Can you tell me where you got it from? Did you have them paint it, how much, how is the quality and how long did it take to get?

Thanks

Thanks.

I was going to order from getbmwparts.com, but my local dealer matched the pricing (with painting) and they installed for me (I'd check with your local dealer to see if they'll match another dealer's pricing). I don't remember the cost for the spoiler alone since I got it with the MPE and pedals, all installed when I picked up the car. It's $360 on getbmwparts.com though (painted). If you're getting it from your local dealer, most parts take about 2-3 days get in, in my experience, but would probably be a couple more for paint. It's OEM, so the quality is exactly as you'd expect from BMW.

Good luck and post pics when you get it on.

Has anyone bought them already painted & installed it themselves? Is it fairly easy?

I didn't put this one on, but I've put quite a few on previous cars. Being strictly a stick on spoiler (no drilling or screws required), this wouldn't be difficult at all.

If you'd be inclined to put the spoiler on and leave it, I'd strongly recommend using the adhesive (glue) that they sell, instead of the 3M tape. I've seen two different 3 series with the sides of spoiler and tape lifting.

How I have done it in the past for glue on spoilers: ***Make sure you clean the area it will go on very well, removing any waxes and doing a final once over using alcohol*** Line it up how you want the spoiler on the trunk, tape the front of the spoiler onto the trunk (so you can flip it forward), put glue on the underside (cover completely, but a little goes a long way -- you don't want it smushing out the sides), flip it over carefully onto the trunk and tape down the opposite side to hold it in place until dry. Just do a once around and make sure it is touching everywhere, if not, now is your time to adjust/tape it down better/add a little more glue -- all and all, if it is OEM, it fits nice and flush with the car.

Good luck and post pics once it's on.

I’ve ended buying the ABS genuine version. Some of the generic pictures of the Genuine carbon version looked crazy.

Has anyone got actual pictures other than the official promotion ones from BMW?

Im not really a fan of ABS spoilers and had the M4 CF lip onto my trunk. ABS look painted not as cheap as when unpainted, but was no match for me though.

I would like to buy a spoiler like the one Kris428 posted pics of in this thread (black 428i) but the website where he bought it is in German. Does anyone know where I can find one like that vs the taller more aggresive one? Thanks!
