I think I'm even more excited right now than I was when I got this car.

About a month ago, my front bumper began peeling. After a slight freak out, I took it as a sign it was time for an M Sport bumper.

Dropped the parts off a couple weeks ago at European Motor Car Works in Costa Mesa, CA and could not possibly be happier with the outcome! No noticeable difference between the factory hood paint and the repainted bumper in color or texture. Absolutely over the moon!

Also got an M Performance dash/door Carbon Fibre and Alcantara trim set installed. No pics because it's dark out but that completely changed my interior from the base silver plastic trim.

For some reason I can't see the picture, but man, I got the cf/alcantara trim kit about a week after I got my car and it has increase my enjoyment of the vehicle a ton. Just not a plastic wood fan, I guess!

Grats!

Grats!
Picked mine up too. One of the best mods I've ever done. Just gotta get my m sport steering wheel in, the original wheel is a bit of a turn off.

The wheel will look great! I wish there was a wet carbon dash I could get instead. I'm surprised you didn't get the SAT shifter.

Looks great overall! Much better than stock! Just curious, how DID it begin to peel anyways?

I remember seeing this interior when you first posted that pic. I love that interior! Wish I had your steering wheel.

Shoddy repaint prior to me purchasing. It didn't look like factory paint at all, so I got over it quickly.

Ah well, just gave you a good excuse to replace.

Where did you guys get the performance interior? Did you bite the bullet and pay the $800 or whatever it costs on getbmwparts? Or is there a more wallet friendly alternative

I think for interiors you don't really have a choice but to go that route, unless someone is parting out their car and happen to put one up for sale.

Build a relationship with a parts guy at your local dealer. You can easily find yourself a discount

Paid about $700usd for mine, new from dealer. That was after cdn taxes and everything.
