F30 Projector Angel Eye Headlights!
I came across this local company and looks like there's an affordable option for angel eyes!
I contacted them and I'm currently on the waiting list. They said they are error free and plug & play, and expecting to have them in stock by the end of this month or early July. They also said they would have an introductory group buy price for the first 3 weeks of release to get things moving. When I get the headlights I'll provide pics and a review for you guys. I can't wait! Link for the headlights: https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/i...roduct_id=1023 Here's some pics they sent me of the headlights installed. Did this company state what type/brand of HID's they installed or Kelvin rating? Notes also state that no bulbs are included.

You just re-use your low beam, high beam, and signal light bulbs (parking and DRL are now the LED angel eyes) |

I feel your pain about the not being in stock, but hopefully just a couple more weeks. I've been on the hunt since I got my F30. |

Message received back inquiry to USR....I queried about pricing and xenon HID bulbs being added:
"Yes, to add canbus no error xenon HID is $70 more, to add canbus no error R3 LED system is $100 more when the headlight becomes available. But in the beginning, since we are limited supply, we might not even offer this with additional upgrade. If we do offer it, the xenon HID we use does not really have a brand, but we do offer 1-Year warranty on it" Additionally, I had asked about brand/type of HID and kelvin rating......no response to that question.

I believe these are brand new. Manufactured in China, bought in bulk and shipped to supplier in USA. Probably same as these.......probably from same supplier in China.... http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1257101

1) The Brand is DEPO Manufacturer which is made in Taiwan not a China made knock off. As well as the projector lens is made in Germany while DEPO assembles the rest of the headlight unit in Taiwan (www.depo.com.tw) 2) All of our items are NEW Condition sent to us directly from DEPO 3) There is no “software update” we are waiting on; our listing is Direct Plug and Play in which requires no coding or wiring. Our headlight is NOT the same. As you can see on our lens, our headlight is DOT Approved where as the guy selling those lights, I do not believe are as the lens appears pretty clear. On a side note, I'm very pleased with USR's communication |

FYI, I would not recommend the LED upgrade on the USR lights as I don't think they will work well with that setup, unless they are changing out the reflector as well.

Do you mean for low beams? It looks like these headlamps all come with projector housings. USR's upgrade was just to retrofit HIDs into the projector housing.

No, referring to the R3 LED upgrade. From the pictures I see, they look like half projector housings (low) and half are reflectors(high).
