Not trying to derail the thread, but for those that ordered from selma or got the goodgo brand, did the bumper come with everything needed for the conversion? Or is there anything extra needed?

There's two type of kits you can buy.

1. Replacement bumper where it comes with the bumper only, no hardware or anything. It's meant to replace the original on the car if you already have an m sport and it was let's say in an accident or fender bender.

2. Second kit is the "conversion" kit and it comes with absolutely everything.

Do you have a link to what your looking at? There's usually a photo that illustrates everything in the package.

KC328-F30 you are awesome man! Thank you for sharing this information to the community.

Do you have a part number for the OEM grille that has the lip?

I wonder why the ones you saw on the dealership lot didn't use the grilles with the lips?

I know it's not a big deal, but there are definitely those of us out there that seek perfection in those small details.

I don't have a part number handy, best bet would be to contact your dealer. The updated grill only came on the more current models from my understanding.

ahh no wonder. I'll have to look into this.

It blows my mind the flack that aftermarket parts get sometimes.

Threads like this really sheds light onto the discussion so we can all become more educated about it.

Does anyone have an issue where the 2 halves of this air duct separate if even the slightest pressure is applied to one side? I can't even clean them during my car wash without them separating.

the bodyshop that installed the new center mesh for me told me this kept happening so they epoxied the two pieces together
