So do they come de badged as well? Perhaps the works had it removed. Nothing on the back of the trunk.
I thought only xDrive badge removed as was shown in the PDF on this thread, but you're right looks like both removed unless WRKS had his removed at dealership before posting.

Hi,

I did get both the xDrive and 340i badging removed during the PDI process. It looks much cleaner with it removed.

Thanks,

That would be the deal breaker for me. I didn't take an in stock MY17 which had all the options that I wanted except adaptive LED. Now I am stuck waiting till march for the car to show up....

Looks awesome with the leather dash - too bad it doesn't come with the leather door cards to match. No Adaptive LED either, really seems like they skim out on some options for the price of this

I feel like one would be better off custom ordering a car given M Performance Package II includes the MPPSK and you can throw own any option you want or don't want... unless you REALLY want one of these colours.

The Pure Blue is really nice.

The price is ridiculous. A riced out 340 or a brand new lightly optioned M3....I know what I would choose.

at $75K. One can get a fully loaded 15 M3/4. The latter will hold a better value over the ordinary 340

Just finalized on mine yesterday, 2017 340i M Performance Edition in Pure Blue. Looks like Saturday is the pickup date and I'm pumped!

Looks great, congratulations! Mine has been unfortunately delayed getting loaded from Halifax but should be here this weekend but on a the bright side may get away with not putting winters on.

Do anyone know if the special editions still have everything port-installed or are they sent this way from Germany?

The 2014 and 2015 models had the trim and exhaust installed in Halifax. I expect the same would apply to the 2017 models.

Some cars were shipped to the dealers incomplete (missing exhaust or as in my case, MPPK software incorrectly installed).

Cars look great everyone. Congrats!

Ah thanks for that. Did you catch the incorrect software install based on the TRQ and HP gauges or in some other manner?

I have not been able to find what the TRQ and HP should read with the package on the B58.

Yes, it was from the HP readings. The gauges read higher in the sport settings if the MPPK is installed than with the standard engine software. Sorry, I don't know what they should read with the B58.

So the MPPSK will be port installed in Halifax? Is there a VPC in Halifax? I love the blue colour, but I can't deal with not having adaptive LEDs (planning on coding NGHB). Also, a bunch of other options not available since not Premium Enhanced package.

Did you get the 20s swapped out for winter 19s on your car?

Yes, the MPPK, MPE, diffuser, and the splitter are installed in Halifax by a division of CN who is our version of the VPC. These are the same group of clowns that used the corrosive agents to free up the cars stuck in the ice and snow in April 2016 resulting in the massive recall of vehicles.

My car was built and shipped on an 18" winter set. The 20s were shipped separately directly to the dealer and were installed on the car there. You were given the choice of purchasing the 18" winter set if you wanted it when you bought the car.

My 4'er GC was recalled in 2015, they had another recall in 2016?! They didn't learn from the 2015 recall? God...

I have the mppsk installed on mine and they both read 400 I also have a sticker on the engine that says mperformance

I believe the stock shows 320 hp and 360 torque. Not 100% sure on the torque reading.

You're correct. It was 2015. My age is catching up to my memory.

My dealer sold me the winter tires and rims for $1800 Canadian. According to the pdf spec sheet I downloaded the M Performance Edition should have 355 hp and 369 Lb-ft torque.

I also picked my car up about two weeks ago and love it.

I don't understand why people always seem to put M3 into this conversation. These are two completely different cars. I don't expect my car to perform like an M3, nor do I want it to.

I got the 340i because my understanding is it is the better daily driver. Happy with the decision because the gf already thinks noise in sport mode is too much to handle.

I got the m performance edition because I wanted the M Performance I and II packages. It makes sense to put the extra couple grand in to get everything else with it.

And ya, ok to driving away in an M3 for $75k in Canada. I've never driven one and am afraid too because I suspect it will be my next purchase if I do.

Good decision. I agree the 340i M is a better all year driver. M3 is a complete different beast. Not as good in snowy conditions.
