September Lease Rates

Does anyone know if the lease rates went up for September? I want to order a 4 series this month and it looks like the national lease "specials" went up by about $50/month. Do I have to agree on a payment before I order or can I pick the rate when the car is delivered? I'm working with a new dealer so I'm not sure of the process. Thanks!

Looks like the residuals on some cars, such as a 2014 428xi went down by 2%...causing around a $30/month increase on a 50k car.

Yes you agree to a deal before placing your order.
The dealership should lock you in to this months programs... so should they get worse, you're covered.

I just got a quote for a 2015 435i. It looks like the MF dropped a little to .00129. Residual for 10k is at 63%.

Oh ok that is good. I was looking at those national lease ads they email you and the payment for a 428i convertible was increased by $50/month. If the residual/MF is the same it shouldn't be any different. Thanks!

What happens if the program gets better? Do they let you take advantage or are you locked into the order month?

I do for my clients but I'm sure some dealerships just keep the additional profit.

The dealer can lock up the rates when you order the car, if the program gets better by the time you are ready to sing the papers, most likely the dealer will give the better option.
