Maybe I am among the minorities here, but to me the 3GT looks way more exciting and sophisticated than both the F30 and F31.
IMHO, cars such as F32 Gran Coupe and F34 Gran Tourism will slowly take the positions of normal sedan and touring as the latter two looks dated and plain in comparison.

Just my thoughts, please don't hate.

I'm so glad I have an E90. I fear for the future of what used to be my favorite automaker

No LIKE!

The headlights look fat and doesn't look stylish & muscular like F30 or 31.

May people will find the slightly elevated ride height, and added utility of the hatchback attractive. It's a good compromise between the dynamics of a wagon, and the elevated riding position of an SUV without SUV gas mileage, and handling..

Obviously this is not very popular among the younger car blog crowd, but it does have its markets in Asia, and even among maybe a slightly older(mature) crowd in the US.

WTF. An M badge on the wheels, on the brakes and on the front quarter panel -- all within a meter of each other.

The whoring out of the M brand is getting worse...

Not hating, just correcting. The "F32 Gran Coupe" has its own chassis designation: the F36.

This might be the next wifemobile, if/when there is an xDrive 335i version. I dig it. Form factor makes a lot of sense. I'd rather buy a 335i Touring xDrive than this but hey, whatever

M sport packages are starting to get way too poseurish, to the point even my wife notices

Sadly quite a few people who buy a BMW do it on color and badge
