Does the N20 and N55 share the same aftermarket Intercooler?

Hi,

May I know if the N20 and the N55 (328i and 335i) share the same aftermarket intercooler?

From what I have seen so far, the Dinan one says it is for the N20/N55, and most of the other ones says the same thing too...

Can I have a quick confirmation of this?

Yes they share the same intercooler

Heard that there is supposedly 2 variants for the n20 328i...

I had a slight misalignment issue on mine during installation.

Only ER has 2 variants
1 for the regular bumper and a second one for the m-sport bumper

228/M235/328/335/428/435 all share the same intercoolers

hmm, then that is wierd. cos I had this misalignment on the turbo side charge pipe when installing on the ER Intercooler...

Here is some pictures... Not that it was way off, but I would have thought that the pipes would be dead on.

I did manage to get it installed eventually, but not with the ER Charge Pipe (Turbo side).

I dun suppose a M sports version and a non M sports version would have caused this?

A rubber coupling is supposed to be there. So it ain't that bad I guess. Haha.

This kind of looks like what I was looking at on the Non turbo side with the ER Charge Pipe. The rubber coupling made it possible though.

From looking at yours and what mine looks like, I'm thinking there is some improvements to be made on the Pipes???

I'm using a VRSF intercooler though.
