On the EST Tab, set the Developer-Soft-Token EST Path to "C:\ESysData\e-sys est\Code Away.est" That is how my original instructions were written, but someone made a mistake restating them. That said, you can put "Code Away.est" token anywhere you want so long as you give E-Sys the correct path to it's location.

Anyone had any success w/ either disabling bulb errors or changing resistance values?
I know the resistances can be changed for a fact, just not sure how (the error disabling is the easy one, changing voltage/wattage/resistance is different) - There is an active member of another forum that works @ a dealership and charges $30-40/hour to change the resistance values. On the e9x, disabling bulb errors is as follows: FRM (NFRM) FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_L X FRM (NFRM) FEHLERMELDUNG_CC_SL_V_R X FRM (NFRM) KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L X FRM (NFRM) KALTUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R X FRM (NFRM) WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_L X FRM (NFRM) WARMUEBERWACHUNG_SL_V_R X ^* E9X ONLY UNTESTED ON F30 *^

OK so mine is the same for LWR and AFS but at "00" for AHL. It seems that's these are driver settings to power motors in headlamps. LWR is vertical adjustment I'm pretty sure. AHL I'm guessing Adaptive Headlights? Maybe AFS is for other models. |

Hi Guys, I just tried coding the closing mirrors when you lock the door, either by Key Fob or by Comfort Access, but it doesn't seem to work.
I have the 328i Luxury Line, with Comfort Access, so I assume there is a motor in the mirrors, but how do I confirm this? I know for one, I do NOT have a button to fold the mirrors in manually, near the side mirror controls on the arm rest, which I noticed in an X5 is there. Any help would appreciated. Other than that, I have successfully coded other features like no more disclaimers, the WeatherBand, and the Sports Display Units changing to HP and Ft-Lbs. haven't tried DVD in Motion, but it is coded, and the elimination of the turn signals when not using them to turn or turn on hazard.

Does you car have SA430 Auto-dimming mirrors, as the power-folding function it is part of it, at least on the F10 it is? |

I'm not sure if it has the SA430, but it has Auto-dimming mirrors.
How do I find out the options codes? i'm new to BMW Coding, as I just picked up my BMW a month ago. So trying to learn as I go. I live in Canada, so maybe it's a difference between USA Spec'd and CA Spec'd F30's?

Also, you have to hold the button (fob or CA) down for 2-3 seconds before the mirrors will start to fold in and the windows to close. |

Just did it, looks like I didn't get S430A, only S431A. So I'd assume then, that I do don't have the ability to auto fold the mirros. Even though I have comfort access. Bummer

What's odd though to me is that Auto-Dimming mirrors aren't included as standard equipment in the Luxury Line.

It does seem like this but they are actually auto-dimming. They make use of the same sensor as the rear view mirror, if you shine a bright light into that sensor, you'll notice the outside mirrors will dim a little bit... and yes, it's only a little bit... compared to how it was on my X5, the external mirror dimming on the F30 really sucks big time
