Time from port to VPC

I got an email from my dealer which has:

At Final Processing Center / OXNARD VPC

Status Description Date Time
Received at VPC (ATI) 1/14/15 12:00:00 AM
Work Order Started 1/14/15
Work Order Completed (Process Confirmed) 1/14/15
Released to Carrier 0900 WAGGONERS TRUCKING 1/14/15
Delivered from VPC

Estimated Actual
Arrive At VPC: 1/5/15 1/14/15
Process Confirmed: 1/16/15 1/14/15
Ship from VPC: 1/18

The port is at Hueneme, CA. I wonder why the car arrived at VPC 9 days later than estimated. Was it damaged and fixed? Anyone has similar experience? Or just too many cars at the port?
