The only cars I have seen debadged are 328is. I don't know if they are hiding that they have a 328 and not a 335i, but the exhaust give it away. Some people like it, its just not my taste.

I've actually never seen those small M badges on an F30 MSport before... Did you guys put those on aftermarket or were they stock?

Yes a few too many M badges are much but never hide the model size if it's a fast one. Also my license plate is NRA Benefactor Member and that speaks for itself so that's staying. Your car makes a statement about who you are. I do not cringe in anonymity. Perhaps I have 4 more points toward a Dinan Badge but not sure what I would add. Love my M Performance decal and M brakes.

Debadge a low end car - that makes sense but when it's a decent one it doesn't make sense to me. Especially when (dare I say it), some of those licence plates you have in the States are absolutely terrible and seem to be left in place. It's A bit like wearing a loud colourful conference badge on a carefully tailored white Italian shirt. I can understand taking the xdrive badge off though. It is a marketing thing more than anything.

Those badges are stock everywhere except the USA. I travel extensively for work and I really like the way they look on M-Sport's in England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, China, etc. I bought an OEM pair from BMW and put them back where they belong. |

I think it all just falls down to a preference thing.. I bought a 335 because it was what I wanted not so that I could brag to everyone that I have a 335 not a 328.. And if people want to judge my car and say it's just a 328 because there is no badge then they obviously don't know cars because you can easily tell by the exhaust. I think once I get my Eisenmann exhaust on people will have no doubt in their mind it's a 335 and not a 328 hahahaha
