Looks like BMWUSA just started offering 'Internet App' through their connected drive store https://connecteddrive.bmwusa.com/. To the best of my knowledge, internet browser/app was not available in US so far. (Please correct me if I am wrong. This is not same as BMW online, which provides widgets such as weather and news and Google online search. BMW online has been available for a while in the US.)

I noticed the internet app is available for purchase at $100/year. Has anyone bought it/used it? Do you think it is a good thing to have. Will it give some additional functionality compared to phone? (You could ask the same question for navigation, but I have to say I like using in-car navigation much more than trying to navigate using a smartphone.)
