Do we assume that the Priority 1 Leather Dash option is now officially gone since it's no longer on the order guide?

Found this on another site:

So if you get the standard "sport" package you get matte chrome window trim on the 6-cyl vs matte black on the 4-cyl.

M-Sport gives high-gloss black trim

So not sure what the adaptive LEDs are worth. I thought LEDs were the hot thing so is the $800 really worth it?

Yeah, what's up with that? You could order the Walknappa dash before as a standalone option and now it's gone.

Good point, but that's always been the case with the high end 3 vs. M3. But also figure that's a fully loaded 3 vs. base M3 (although the base M3 is well equipped). A fully loaded M3 can get into the low $80k range.

Wow, this is HUGE.

Considering Adaptive LED's >>> Adaptive Xenons, and Adaptive Xenons ('Lighting Package') used to cost $1,000, I am VERY impressed BMW is making this package fairly affordable. I feel as if they may be playing catch up though.

Well, I'm not sure what you're arguing exactly, you could have easily loaded a 2015 335i xDrive up to the base price of an M3 (and a 435 up to M4, 550 up to M5, 650 up to M6, etc.). That's nothing new, and frankly it's expected since you're comparing a loaded lower model to a base higher model.

As for the prices themselves, I was going to order a 2015 335i xDrive M Sport with Performance Power Kit, etc. Would have had just about every option, and the MSRP was $62905. I just built a comparable 2016 340i xDrive (and added the Track Handling Pack, which wasn't available before, and I wasn't getting the M Sport brakes or variable sport steering on the 2015) and it came to only $60100, so I am actually saving $2805, and getting more stuff. How did that happen? Because I didn't need to get the $1730 Power Kit anymore, and the $2200 Premium Package is now standard. So the new one is $2805 less expensive, with equipment I wasn't getting before, and the car has LED's now and all the other new stuff from the LCI. Makes getting the 2016 a no brainer to me.

Lighting package requires premium package. Premium package now includes LED headlights. If you want adaptive LED headlights you need to then add lighting package.

So, to get adaptive LED it is $2,450 + $800 = $3,250

They basically removed leather from premium package and added basic LED headlights.

The Sport Line isn't the same as the Line you could pay extra for on the 2015s. For one easy difference, the wheels are not the same as you can option for the Style 397 for like $600. I'm sure there are some other differences too but subtracting the full $2500 probably isn't the right way to go in my opinion.

Yes you are correct. I did added the $600 wheel upgrade to 18" Style 397.
The $1100 savings is after all that.

However, the standard sports line for 2016 doesn't include the 18" 397 wheels as well as the 704 sports suspension.

So is it basically just the sport bumper in lays and black exhaust tips with the standard sport package (no sport rims or suspension?)
