Any way to make the led L shape tails DRLs?
Is there any way I can make the led L shape tail lights DRLs? I like how it was on the LCI E90s and E92/93 where the tails will light up during the day as well.
If I put the car into parking mode, the tails will turn on but the ambers on the front will come on. Anyone know if there's any coding out for the F30s yet? |

I thought the ambers in the front turn on regardless. If you have the headlight switch on full auto, then you can see that during the day, the car actually runs on Parking lights and there is an indication in the dashboard. I need to double check though. May be I checked it during evening time and not broad daylight.
I was wondering about this as well. |

From what I've seen from the F10 threads, this can be done through coding. I'm betting the coding is very similar for the F30 as it is for the F10, hopefully I can get a cable soon so I can start on my F30 =)

Just be very careful with any coding, I have seen a number of cars "bricked" over the years when guys played around too much. then they had to fork out a lot to get it fixed. Be sure you know 100% what you are doing and that it has been tested before. F30 draw a lot of power ( just like E90), so make sure you have a power supply capable of powering the system on coding. BMW dealers have to use a 90A power supply. Any voltage drop can cause problems.
