That is the good feature by RaceChip, the power gain delivery is smooth. So you don't really feel it since it is not jerky. Do a WOT, then you will feel the difference.
As for the Sport Display, that is BMW program, the RaceChip doesn't and can't alter that.
Glad you like it.

As they told me that S2 shouldn't be changed.
S2 is only for Diesel as far as for BMW application.

I am not interested in adding a DP at the moment as it is too risky to interfere with my warranty and maintenance plan.

Are any of these tunes invisible to BMW for maintenance and warranty purposes?

When you say AA8 is more advanced, im assuming in regards to boost with rpm option? also in your comparison ... it says AA* is ONLY compatible with catted downpipe cars... is this true?

Tune is not invisible, you will need to uninstall it before your dealership visit.

AA and RC8 are both not meant to be used with catless downpipes. They are stage 1 tune.

Fair assessment.
Im sure you know this but just to clarify your statement. JB4 can change maps without connecting to a laptop and has an optional upgrade for a weather proof enclosure.

Yes. I did change tunes from the steering controls with the latest software. Like the new enclosure. Kudos for bms.

Thanks Mike

Weather proof enclosure is now standard with the F chassis Jb4, no need to pay extra for it.

Never get the racechip ultimate! My friend bought one and we have tried all settings and compare with my stock 428i. Result is nothing changed! They clearly fool people! Racechip increase power and torque at low and mid rpms. It works until 5k rpm after 5k it turn back to stock! Which is suck!! When you go WOT rpm stays 5.5k to 6k so racechip wont change anything!

I have dyno of before and after and can tell you that it makes difference.
BMS Stage1, RC, and JB4 all makes more power (and very usable torque).
I you have an Adroid phone you can install torque pro app and ODB2 bluetooth reader to test it.

The Best dyno for my opinion is to roll with the same car before and after! Me and my friend have the exact same cars! We have tried before and 250km later he installed rc ultimate! Result is same! We have tried all settings until check engine light comes on, but nothing changed. After we figured out s1 is stand for the rpm range where rc ultimate works! Default setting s1 is 5k rpm. Every increaments on s1 increase the 500rpm. So we changed s1 to s2 and immediately check engine light came on!
Thats the results we had...
