New 2014 F33 Convertible

Went to the dealership this afternoon to finish the paperwork on our new F33 428i. Had found out earlier in the week that upon arrival at Brunswick, it had cleared customs and processed through the VPC in the she day and had been released to the carrier. Dealer thought that we were looking at early next week before it arrived and that we would have it by the end of next week.

Pulled into the dealership and was met by our CA saying she had something to show us. sure enough, it was sitting under the drive though for service. Still had its shipping covers on, but it was here. CA said that they were usually the last drop-off, but this time they were first. The auto gods were with us.

Sorry about the poor picture. only had my cellphone with me, Will have better pictures when we get it home on Monday or Tuesday.

Sweet looking ride - enjoy daily. I'm hopeful that my 435 vert will arrive at the dealers this week. I did an ED in early May and I'm going through some serious withdrawal...

Thanks. Yes it is the luxury line. Had to do it to get the saddle brown interior. That was the one given with this car. The exterior color was a much roughed decision.

Thanks Gunther. I hope yours shows up this week. Must be hard to have driven it and then give it up for two months. But at least you know it is coming home to you.

Drives like a dream. Don't think we will regret getting the 428. More than enough power for us.

Thank you. I have my wife to blame for all of this. 😉 She was the driving force.

No lighting package. Could not justify the cost. Fairly new technology and want to see how it holds up.

Did take some front pictures, but was not happy with them. There will be more.

Oh yea, that's right. 4 series has Xenon/LED-DRL standard. Lighting package for full LED is definitely hard to justify.

Thank you Ryan. We knew we wanted Saddle interior. The big debate was the exterior color. Considered MG and two other colors. Did the Mineral Grey unseen and we agree, it is gorgeous.

I'm in the same boat as you were. I definitely want the saddle interior but I can't make up my mind on the exterior color. I may be convinced on the MG after seeing your photos... it looks stunning! Glad you are loving it.

Likewise. It seems to be very popular, although the predominance of colors out here are white and black. White I can understand, but black, go figure. We wanted something different and I think we accomplished that.

Really don't think you can go wrong with saddle and any exterior color. We thought about Imperial Blue and Mineral White. My wife looked at every picture she could find on those two colors along with the Mineral Grey. Finally narrowed it to MG and MW before deciding that MG looked the best.

Got the windows tinted today. Llumar Air 80 on the front and CTX 35 on the rest. Wife did not want to go any darker as she did not want to distract from the overall esthetics of the car.
