steering wheel seems stiffer after lowering?

Hello!

Just got my HR sport (not super sport) springs installed (professionally by Mod auto) and... I could SWEAR that the steering wheel is a little firmer/stiffer... it still changes stiffness and gets stiffer in sport mode. My friend says its all in my head... But I just want to make sure nothing is wrong and that this is normal.

I have not gotten an alignment yet, as it was recommended that I wait a few weeks to let it 'settle'... And yes i did googling/searching ^^ which yielded me everything from normal to not normal to get alignment, get camber kit, etc~~

HR Sport Springs approx 1" drop, or 1/2" from sport suspension same OEM wheels for now.

its likely alignment. you might be running a lot more toe in which case the car wont want to move off center making the steering feel heavier
