Did you notice it looks like it docked today in Colon and then turned around. What's up with that? I want to see the boat go through the canal.

I noticed that too. Now I'm worried. We should create a new thread to see if anyone knows anything. Maybe they got put on a different boat?

Nah, I wouldn't worry too much. It says next destination is Port Hueneme and ETA is 10/15. No more stops. When it arrives at the port, I will be checking with my CA everyday. There was another thread where the car arrived and was sitting at the dealership for 9 days and nobody notified the owner it arrived. I'm picking mine up the day it hits the dealer lot whether my CA is working that day or not.

I've been waiting to long not to bug them everyday once it hits the VPC in Oxnard. I also need to ask them to refrain from drilling in the front license plate. I don't want it at all

You better get on top of the no drilled holes in the bumper. I told my CA I didn't want the front plate and when I got my paperwork, there was a document that I had to sign that said that dealer was not going to install the front plate and they would not be liable for me breaking the law by not having a front plate.

I have two ED cars on the Asian Emperor too. Just found your threads and will add having tracked a BMW ship before: the about-face out of Manzanillo was odd, especially the status code that effectively stated it was out of commission, but that's in the past. The marine traffic AIS stations are near shore so the ship is out to sea and invisible without an upgraded account until it gets near LA. I'm anticipating an on schedule arrival.

I know the labor is free on port installs. What is the labor cost to install at the dealer if you get it done later?

Yes. Sept 2nd delivery. Both M Sports. 435i convertible and 550i. Fantastic experience that has tainted me for life - ED is the only way to buy if one has to have what they want, willing to wait, and wants to visit Europe.

I downloaded a free app on my android phone. (Free ship 2.0) As of 7:26pm the boat is just South West of Guatamala heading North West along the coast of Southern Mexico.

I don't know the actual install cost for a dealer install but anything more than free is enough for me to have it done at the port. I wish I could access a list of port installs and their prices so I could figure out what I should have done. I already have aftermarket wheels and tires picked out, but honestly I can wait and use that extra cash on something beneficial to vehicle performance.

We missed each other by 1 day. I did ED on Sept 1. My first time in Europe and it was an unforgettable experience for me too. Enjoyed the sight seeing but my favorite part was driving my new 428i GC M-Sport in the countryside and the Alps. Autobahn was cool but I stuck to the break-in guidelines and kept it at 100 MPH.

Yes, did the factory tour but Museum was closed on Monday. So you drove one vehicle and who drove the other?

No driving. Lots of reasons; choosing which car to leave behind didn't feel right, observing the break in on the Autobahn would be torture, having family along, and going to Paris with no desire to have a new car pared on the streets in the big city. Next time I'll do like you and hit the Alps! Just one car too.

Just found IOS app FindShip Lite free which apparently uses gps not ais and confirms location near Guatemala.

I haven't took the time to learn to post a picture using my cellphone on the forum but you can search for the wheels. Both sets are wheels I've already seen on F30s on the forum.
