Thanks for the feedback guys. I prefer #2 as well (by a longshot) and it sounds like PandaNL will try to incorporate it into the next release. It was the first one I did. Option #1 was done just so the people had something to choose from.
Now I need to decide which BMW will be my first...and whether or not to go ED. |

This is excellent I have added some codes. One thing I would recommend is a simple check box that allows one to know which settings from the list you have tested, used.
Just a thought and thank you! |

Thanks for putting this up. Way helpful. I am having trouble with something. Whenever I click check for updates, I get an error that says something like No Runtime found to run this application. Anyone else?

I'm having the same issue, the new version (1.2) won't launch.
Checking the Windows 7 error log, I see: Log Name: Application Source: .NET Runtime Date: 2/22/2014 2:21:09 PM Event ID: 1026 Task Category: None Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: XXXXXXXXXX Description: Application: *********Database.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Before the app downloaded the new update, initially it was saying cannot connect to server. Then about 10 minutes later i relaunched and it redownloaded the new update and now wont open on windows 7 and gives an error message on WindowsXP. I'm gonna PM the author now, maybe he compiled it with a missing .dll

It was indeed a missing dll, to fix this uninstall and re-install using the new installer at http://*********database.com or by running WyUpdate.exe in the program files(x86)\BMW Coding Database folder.

One note: The Module list pull-down seems broken, All I see is 1, 2, 3, and ALL, not the ECU names. |

I released v1.2.2 which fixed the dropdown menu, fixed also a problem when reporting an id without selecting the row.
