You have to buy the new headlamp switch unit that has the rear fog light switch.

Is the rear fog light feature comes standard? And you just have to buy an additional switch from BMW? or aftermarket? Sorry a lot of questions, this is the first time i see a vehicle with rear fog lights...not sure if they're usable too...

I guess it varies between markets, we get Front & Rear fogs as standard. Probably optional in the US.

It's functional but never use them since we don't get much fog in Aus.

After seeing the pictures of rear fog lights, i think its more of annoyance to the driver behind. Because the same lights that represent heavy braking now constantly being lit-up.

That's what makes them awesome. Some idiot is tailgating you, just flick on rear fogs to give them a little fright. It's always amusing watching them suddenly drop back

Update!
Got a set of euro used ones for real cheap and I am loving them. I like the depth and the brightness of it. Also the reds are deeper reds whereas I feel the pre LCI were more towards the orangish hues.
The amber turn signals look red when off but when lit up is amber. Cool stealthy little effect.
Loving the Full LED setup. Thanks OP for sharing your photos to spark interest.
