Aftermarket pedal sets

Anyone been able to track down/install aftermarket pedals for the F30? My interweb searches show:

None of these OEM pedals are available for the F30
http://www.shopbmwusa.com/ProductLis...?CategoryId=45

AC has F30 pedals, but they are $600 for the manual set plus footrest?!
http://www.acschnitzer-usa.com/

Turner and bmwpedals do not yet have F30 sets.
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/BMW-...edal-sets.aspx
http://www.bmwpedals.com/

Bimmian's pedal sets do not look like they fit fully over the OEM pedals, pretty ghetto.
http://www.bimmian.com/Aluminum-Peda...om-Bimmian.com

Thoughts?

Does anyone else exclusively drive barefoot I would imagine anything but the stock rubber pedals would hurt.

Hey guys,

What about a set (accel and brake pedals) that matches the footrest that comes installed in the M-Sport?

I was looking for some pillowtop pedal covers for my tootsies.

Seriously, though, I don't think I have ever driven my car shoeless. Would be most interested in some nice aluminum pedals, like the OEM performance ones from shopbmw.com. Subtle but important styling point IMHO.

I think the pedals in the M-Performance catalog will match the stock M-Sport footrest, but I haven't seen anyone selling them yet.

Those are pretty smooth looking, but maybe a tad... garish. The bimmian diagonal and OEM look cleaner to me.

Yeah, I can't decide if I like the factory M Sport foot rest by itself or with matching M Performance pedals--you're right, it does look a bit "busy" down there with all of them matching.

Never--just curious, why do you drive barefoot? I've read the debates about whether or not it's safe (I don't see any harm in it) but I never would because I'm always wearing dress shoes or sneakers...not exactly easy to remove. Do you wear flip flops frequently? (or high heels)

I honestly cannot remember the last time I drove with shoes on.

It's a full on habit at this point. I feel much more connected to the vehicle and I can't really imagine it any other way. Socks don't make a difference btw.. just as long as I'm not wearing shoes..

With a manual transmission, the clutch feel is 10x nicer when you have a direct connection w/ the flywheel. It basically becomes an extension of your left foot, without any rubbery-shoe blocking the way.

I wear all sorts of shoes, depending on the day, weekend, etc.. Dress shoes at work, birkenstocks to the beach, sneakers to hikes/working out no matter what shoe/car it is I take my shoes off after sitting in the driver's seat.

There must be other shoeless drivers out there!

You probably drive Automatic? The clutch feel is 10x nicer when you have a direct. It basically becomes an extension of your left foot, without any rubbery-shoe blocking the way.

I've never owned an automatic in my life, always MTs, but never barefoot. I most often wear Puma "driving" shoes which have a thin and flexible sole, so they feel more connected than most shoes. (side note: I wear Puma driving shoes because I like how they look and feel, not because I am pretending to be a race car driver, haha)

Cool, so you remove your shoes no matter what kind of shoes? I've never met anyone who does that every time no matter what kind of shoe they are wearing. I've driven barefoot once or twice when I needed to move the car out of the garage and didn't put on shoes, but never any real distance, I will give it a try!

Currently wearing these as I type:

I tried the puma ones at one point, but I didn't like how tightly they wrapped around my feet and they are super uncomfortable (imo) outside of the car..

But that makes sense because the sole is so very thin - Hence why they are driving shoes - Hence why I drive without shoes

Emailed around and bmwpedals.com has F30 pedals, just not available online yet. I'll keep you posted on pricing.

I drive barefoot sometimes too, especially if I'm in Birkenstocks or very stiff-soled shoes that don't let me "feel" the pedal.

I'll wait and get some from the bmwpedals.com website. Since i have the black interior (Sport Line), i will probably get some matching pedals!

Here is the installation video.

Just curious, what do different pedals bring except a new look?

Also to those driving shoeless, doesnt the ABS kill your foot when it kicks back?
