Love his videos and I hear he is reasonable for the install. Not sure of the price but I heard no more than a few hundred bucks.

If it is different I would love to know.

Yeah. To clarify, again, I have the DEPO headlights that are currently broken. But yeah, the OEM Adaptive Lights have the same problem.

I’m on Long Island, NY . The shop is Hassell auto body in West Babylon. The charged me $182 cause I told them USR charges $180. NJ is a far way though I would check out local shops around you first .

That seems like a good price from USR? Do you have to take it somewhere specific for them to do it?

That is a pretty good price since Kies I believe charges around $400 for the install. The guy does come to your house for the install though so that is probably why it is more money.

Well $400 is quite a bit , even coming to your location I would think the most to be charge should be in the upper 200 range but that’s just me.

I would say def do it . It’s worth it no question. However do your research first and ask a lot of questions. Depo from what I know is a pretty close to OEM as it gets so I presume they would be reliable. Email USR and ask questions so you are more comfortable with making a decision.

Sorry I was referring to USR - where do they install? I can ask Lee too.

Thanks.

I guess so but not sure where else to take it. Just a local body shop? This guy will come and do it same day where as other places you may have to drop it off for a day or more.

It looks like they are located in California so outside that area you may be SOL.

What's the lazy eye? If I think what it is, my right side is like that right now. I haven't had time to look it over. I just thought I might have misaligned the bulb.

"Lazy Eye" is usually a reference to the adaptive housings (The ones that have motors and level/move on their own). It happens when the projector falls off the pivots or the motor dies, leaving the projector in one position (Usually not straight and downward). Same thing happened to mine, where it's pointing straight at the ground, but in the manually adjusted ones (DEPO)

I got mine ordered too! Thanks for the coupon code.

For those around the NY/NJ area, once our order gets fulfilled and delivered and if you want to go look for a body shop, we can maybe go together and "bulk" install our depo lights. we can prolly get install discount.

So the lazy eye can still apply to the DEPO headlights too?

Yes, just in a different sense. For us, it'd be the mounting/pivoting points coming loose or breaking/stripping. I was able to adjust this morning and it's holding up, for now...
